SV	Als hij nog sprak, ziet, zo kwam Jonathan, de zoon van Abjathar, den priester; en Adonia zeide: Kom in, want gij zijt een kloek man, en zult het goede boodschappen.
WLC	עֹודֶ֣נּוּ מְדַבֵּ֔ר וְהִנֵּ֧ה יֹונָתָ֛ן בֶּן־אֶבְיָתָ֥ר הַכֹּהֵ֖ן בָּ֑א וַיֹּ֤אמֶר אֲדֹנִיָּ֙הוּ֙ בֹּ֔א כִּ֣י אִ֥ישׁ חַ֛יִל אַ֖תָּה וְטֹ֥וב תְּבַשֵּֽׂר׃
Trans.	‘wōḏennû məḏabēr wəhinnēh ywōnāṯān ben-’eḇəyāṯār hakōhēn bā’ wayyō’mer ’ăḏōnîyâû bō’ kî ’îš ḥayil ’atâ wəṭwōḇ təḇaśśēr:

AC	מב עודנו מדבר והנה יונתן בן אביתר הכהן בא ויאמר אדניהו בא כי איש חיל אתה וטוב תבשר
ASV	While he yet spake, behold, Jonathan the son of Abiathar the priest came: and Adonijah said, Come in; for thou art a worthy man, and bringest good tidings.
BE	And while the words were on his lips, Jonathan, the son of Abiathar the priest, came; and Adonijah said, Come in; for you are a man of good faith and the news which you have for us will be good.
Darby	While he yet spoke, behold, Jonathan the son of Abiathar the priest came; and Adonijah said [to him], Come in; for thou art a valiant man, and bringest good news.
